Chennai division celebrated its 1st Anniversary on Sat 25th July 2015 at the Ambassador Hotel with a gathering of over 300 people comprising of wish kids, their families, volunteers, doctors, well-wishers, donors and sponsors.
The event was put together by Srividya Krishna and compered by Murli Krishnan who is a percussionist and a music teacher. Eminent personalities : actress Khushboo, Dr. Preetha Reddy – Executive Vice Chairman Apollo Hospitals, Mr. Durai Sayi – VP Corporate HR at Ashok Leyland and eminent doctors in Chennai graced the occasion.
As part of Atulya's giving back to society, we have associated with
the NGO Devodhyog. We support them by purchasing their
products as gifts and giveaways. Devodhyog was established
in Chennai by Shikha Kaushik, with the sole purpose of self-reliance
& economic empowerment of the people with special needs along with
the school drop-outs and other socially neglected and underprivileged
segment. They encourage active participation of friends with special needs in order to enhance their capabilities to lead a meaningful &
dignified life by providing exposure in different aspects of life to
enhance their self-esteem and also create a path of financial independence by facilitating holistic development.
