Today's Choices,
Tomorrow’s World.

At Atulya Weddings & Events, sustainability is not a trend we follow, it’s a responsibility we consciously choose. Every celebration we curate is an opportunity to be mindful, to give back, and to create beauty without burdening the planet.

Conventional events generate enormous amounts of waste – food, plastic, paper, flowers, thermocol, and chemicals – that end up in landfills or water bodies, releasing harmful emissions and causing long-term environmental damage. We believe celebrations should leave behind memories, not waste.

That belief guides every decision we make.

What Sustainability Means to Us

Low Waste Events

Every event is planned with waste reduction at its core. From material choices to post-event clean-up, we track and manage waste meticulously to ensure nothing unnecessary is discarded.

Eco-Friendly Materials

We consciously choose biodegradable, compostable, and reusable materials wherever possible, without compromising on aesthetics or guest experience.

Chemical-Free Practices

We use bio-enzyme cleaners instead of harsh chemicals. This keeps our events safer for people, prevents water contamination, and allows used water to be repurposed for plants and landscaping.

Carbon-Conscious Planning

We work towards carbon-neutral events by reducing emissions at source and supporting offset initiatives that help balance environmental impact.

Local & Responsible Sourcing

We prioritise locally sourced materials, flowers, and supplies.

Community & Environmental Impact

Our commitment extends beyond the event itself. We collaborate with NGOs focused on environmental conservation and livelihood creation. After every event, we partner with an NGO to plant trees, contributing to long-term ecological restoration.

How We Do It

Floral Waste

Flowers are separated from greens and sent to NGOs that transform them into natural dyes, incense sticks, and other reusable products, giving florals a second life beyond décor.

We separate the florals from the greens and thread
And then we collect them and sending them over to
NGOs which convert them to natural dyes, incense sticks, etc.

Food Waste

Leftover food is carefully separated from serving materials like banana leaves and sent to composting units. The compost generated is converted into nutrient-rich manure

Cleanup crew separates the leftover food from banana leaves
And the crew sends them over to composting units
After composting process, the food waste will be turned into manure

Plastic Waste

Plastic that enters the event ecosystem, primarily through packaging and gift wrapping, is collected, segregated, and sent for recycling, where it is repurposed into useful products

Plastic that comes in through gift wrapping & food packaging
Is carefully collected by our cleanup crew and sent over for recycling
Which will be recycled and converted to useful products
